About the Role
As a Cath Lab Tech, you will effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized cardiovascular procedures, including diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies. You will evaluate and document patient status, respond appropriately, and ensure optimal patient outcomes while reflecting clinical expertise and commitment to continued learning.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of a diploma, associate or baccalaureate academic program in health science or accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire or within 6 months of hire.
Preferred:
- Colorado Surgical Assistant License or Surgical Technologist Certification upon hire.
- Experience in assisting with a variety of cardiovascular procedures.
