Summary
MedStar Health is seeking a CC Paramedic: Flight and Ground to provide comprehensive emergency medical care during helicopter and ambulance transport in Clinton, MD.
About the Role
As a CC Paramedic, you will deliver expert patient care in helicopters and ambulances, assess patient needs, perform advanced airway techniques, administer pharmacologic agents, and ensure system readiness. You will also maintain professional communications, support regulatory requirements, and assist in the orientation of new team members.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Successful completion of an approved Paramedic course required.
- 3 years experience as an NREMT-P required.
- NREMT - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians-Paramedic required.
- Licensed Paramedic in the District of Columbia within 30 Days required.
- Licensed Paramedic in Maryland required.
- CPR certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- PALS certification required.
Preferred:
- Significant field experience in a high acuity, high volume EMS system preferred.
- Licensed Paramedic in Virginia preferred.
