About the Role
As a CDBG-DR Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading large-scale disaster recovery programs, providing technical assistance, developing policies, and managing staff and subcontractors. You will work closely with state and local government clients, ensuring compliance with CDBG-DR regulations and effectively managing program performance.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2+ years of project management experience with federally funded projects.
- 5+ years of experience managing complex cross-functional teams.
- 5+ years of in-depth knowledge of CDBG/CDBG-DR programs and regulations.
- 2+ years of disaster recovery experience at the grantee level or with a consulting firm.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
Preferred:
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Experience with FEMA and other disaster recovery funding mechanisms.
- Business capture and development experience.
- Experience with state and local governments in disaster recovery initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor program activities for quality control.
