ICF is seeking a CDBG-DR Project Manager to join their Disaster Management Division in North Carolina. The role involves managing disaster recovery programs and projects to support recovery from Hurricane Helene.
About the Role
As a CDBG-DR Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading large-scale disaster recovery programs, providing technical assistance, developing policies, and managing staff and subcontractors. You will work closely with state and local government clients, ensuring compliance with CDBG-DR regulations and effectively managing program performance.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree.
2+ years of project management experience with federally funded projects.
5+ years of experience managing complex cross-functional teams.
5+ years of in-depth knowledge of CDBG/CDBG-DR programs and regulations.
2+ years of disaster recovery experience at the grantee level or with a consulting firm.
Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
Preferred:
Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
Experience with FEMA and other disaster recovery funding mechanisms.
Business capture and development experience.
Experience with state and local governments in disaster recovery initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to monitor program activities for quality control.
