Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a CDL Rear Load Truck Driver to join their team in Findlay, OH. The role involves servicing customers with the collection and hauling of waste or recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant.
About the Role
As a CDL Rear Load Truck Driver, you will be responsible for providing trash or recycling removal services to customers in a safe and compliant manner. Your daily tasks will include emptying trash/recycling containers into the truck, maintaining route and driver log sheets, conducting pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and ensuring excellent customer service. You will operate various types of trucks and service multiple routes in different areas.
About You
Required:
- Must have a valid Class B CDL.
- Must have a valid DOT Medical Card or be able to obtain one prior to hire.
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
- Must not have any DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
Preferred:
- Waste industry experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
