About the Role
As a Center Aide, you will assist with daily classroom activities, foster positive communication with staff, parents, and children, engage with children in play and learning activities, support classroom rules, manage classroom records, assist with meal service cleanup, and ensure a safe and clean environment. You will also attend required meetings and training sessions.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience in early childhood education, childcare, preschool, or a related setting.
- Valid State of Ohio driver's license and insurability according to the Agency's vehicle insurance policy.
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) lbs. and engage in physically demanding activities.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in customer service.
- Ability to communicate effectively with empathy and compassion.
