About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will conduct patient intakes, measure vital signs, assist in examinations, and ensure compliance with safety standards. You will also engage with patients to address their needs, perform first aid procedures, and provide health coaching to support healthy lifestyle choices.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) required.
- Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training required.
- A minimum of 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
Preferred:
- 6+ months' phlebotomy experience is highly desired.
- Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.
- EClinical Works or similar EMR experience.
