Ascend Autism Group is seeking a Center Director (Assistant Clinical Director & BCBA) to join their team in Hawthorne, NY. The role involves leading a center-based program focused on providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
About the Role
As a Center Director, you will be responsible for new client evaluation, behavior assessments, developing treatment plans, ongoing case management, and supervising a treatment team of BCBAs and Behavior Techs. You will conduct functional behavior assessments, lead and mentor the treatment team, provide 1:1 ABA therapy, and ensure compliance with BACB guidelines.
About You
Required:
- Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Must hold applicable state licensure (New York LBA).
- Experience working in-center and developing ABA programs.
- Experience supervising paraprofessionals implementing ABA based treatment programs.
- Experience working with children aged 2-10.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience conducting family trainings on ABA-based treatment plans.
- Excellent administrative skills.
