About the Role
As a Central Office Technician, you will be responsible for hardware installation and decommissioning of enterprise servers and cabling infrastructure. Your daily tasks will include troubleshooting and repairing data center hardware, rack and stacking equipment, documenting activities, and managing inventory processes. You will also execute small projects independently and collaborate with your manager on larger projects, ensuring top-notch customer service at client sites.
About You
Required:
- Knowledge of server/storage/network hardware.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Valid US Drivers License and clean MVR.
- Ability to see in color and work at height.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Strong interest in learning new data center concepts.
- Dependable and trustworthy.
- Process oriented.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
