About the Role
As a Central Sterile Technician I, you will be responsible for ensuring that all surgical instruments and supplies are properly cleaned and sterilized. You will participate in departmental and medical center-wide performance improvement projects as requested. This position requires the ability to work variable shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
About You
Required:
- Successful completion of an accredited school of Sterile Processing or Surgical Technology or 18 months relevant Sterile Processing experience.
- Knowledge and practice of infectious control techniques and medical terminology.
- Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
