About the Role
As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing patients for physical examinations, checking and recording vital signs, assisting physicians in exams and procedures, maintaining exam rooms, and cleaning and autoclaving instruments. You will also follow infection control procedures and provide clerical support as needed.
About You
Required:
- Valid Certified Medical Assistant certification from an approved credentialing board (NHA, AMT, NCCT, etc.)
- Ability to understand and utilize universal precautions.
Preferred:
- Experience in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
