About the Role
As a Certified Athletic Trainer, you will work under the direction of the Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program Medical Director(s) to prescribe, implement, and evaluate patients' individual activity/exercise levels. You will also be responsible for interpreting exercise tolerance tests, providing medical support to athletes, and ensuring compliance with health care standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- 3-5 years of experience designing exercise and fitness programs.
- 1-3 years of medical experience.
- Ability to take vital signs and assess for abnormal results.
- Ability to identify abnormal rhythm on EKG/telemetry.
Preferred:
- Experience in a clinical setting with patient management.
- Knowledge of NATA and NMC Standard of Care.
