About the Role
About You
- Health Coach certification (e.g. Nurse Coach (NC-BC), Health & Wellness Nurse Coach (HWNC-BC), National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), or certification through The International Coaching Federation) required.
- Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field (e.g. Wellness, Exercise Physiology, Public Health, Health Science, Nutrition, or Health Promotion) required.
- Minimum of five years in clinical practice with experience related to cardiovascular care of older adults required.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds required.
- Excellent listening and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Willingness to accept flexibility in weekday working hours required.
- Willingness to commit to staying with the project for an extended period required.
- Comfort with technology and willingness to enhance technical skills required.
- Experience in health coaching preferred.
- Experience in home health care preferred.
- Prior training in motivational interviewing preferred.
