About the Role
As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will assist providers with clinical procedures, maintain exam rooms, manage patient intake, and ensure efficient clinic operations while delivering excellent patient service. Your responsibilities will include taking vital signs, wound care, administering injections, performing urine tests, and educating patients on health-related topics.
About You
Required:
- 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-NCTT required.
- BCLS - Basic Life Support certification required.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.
- Proficiency in medical record systems and basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service.
