About the Role
The Certified Medical Assistant’s main responsibility is to maintain efficient patient flow and support medical providers with the delivery of patient care. Duties include triaging patients, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, assisting with procedures, restocking supplies, cleaning exam rooms, documenting patient interactions, and communicating with the billing department.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an approved medical assistant training program or equivalent program.
- Certification in Medical Assisting required.
- CPR/AED Certification.
Preferred:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a health care setting preferred.
