About the Role
As a Certified Medical Assistant II, you will be responsible for supporting a specific team in various areas including leave paperwork, prior authorizations, prescription refills, answering phone calls, coordinating lab results, assisting with nurse triage, performing blood draws, and ensuring efficient patient flow in the clinic. You will also act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, helping to resolve non-clinical patient inquiries.
About You
Required:
- Completion of a medical assistant program accredited by ABHES or CAAHEP, or military training/experience.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- Certified Medical Assistant in the State of Washington.
- Current BLS AHA Health Provider Card.
- Proficient in email and word processing systems.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Preferred:
- Current Surgical Technologist Registration in the State of Washington.
- Willingness to participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve.
