About the Role
As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for performing point of care testing, preparing and administering medications, assisting with patient examinations, tracking lab results, and ensuring compliance with safety and infection control policies. You will also maintain patient flow and provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
About You
Required:
- Technical Diploma in Medical Assisting.
- Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) in the State of Florida.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) Healthcare Provider Completion Card.
Preferred:
- Strong customer service skills including knowledge of recovery techniques.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Ability to pass colorblind testing for point-of-care tests.
