Summary
Community Health & Dental Care, Inc. is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join their team in Pottstown, PA. The role involves performing a variety of clinical and clerical duties to support patient care.
About the Role
As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will work collaboratively with medical providers and care coordinators to create a compassionate care environment. Your responsibilities will include preparing exam rooms, assisting with patient examinations, administering medications, documenting patient data, and maintaining patient confidentiality. You will also participate in team huddles and pre-visit planning activities to ensure optimal patient care.
About You
Required:
- Medical Assistant diploma/degree from an accredited school and/or formal training program.
- Certification as a certified/registered medical assistant.
- Computer experience required, EMR preferred.
- CPR certification required.
Preferred:
- One to two years of physician office experience.
- Experience with NextGen EMR.
