About the Role
As a Certified Nurse Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering personal care to clients, assisting with nutritional needs, and encouraging client independence. Your daily tasks will include bathing, feeding, and providing restorative care, while maintaining a respectful and courteous demeanor. You will also be required to communicate client information with supervisors and ensure infection control standards are met.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in all aspects of long-term care for the elderly.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be a Certified Nurse's Aide listed on the South Carolina Nurse Aide Registry with an active certification.
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, squat, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Willingness to travel to clients throughout Charleston County.
- Reliable transportation to and from James Island.
