About the Role
As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will assist patients with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, support mobility needs, provide nutritional support, maintain a clean environment, communicate with nursing staff, assist with medical procedures, and document patient care activities.
About You
Required:
- Completion of an accredited Certified Nurse Assistant training program.
- Valid CNA certification/license as required by the state or local regulatory authority.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care techniques.
- Ability to pass background checks and health screenings including immunizations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working as a CNA in a hospital, nursing home, or long-term care facility.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Additional training in specialized care areas such as geriatrics or rehabilitation.
- Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations.
