West Anaheim Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for their Nursing Float Pool in Anaheim, CA. The role involves assisting with daily living activities and providing basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
About the Role
As a CNA in the Float Pool, you will assist with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and help maintain a safe environment. You will be assigned to various departments as needed, including MedSurg, Geropsych, Telemetry, DOU, ICU/CCU, Subacute, and Emergency Department.
About You
Required:
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Minimum six months experience in an acute care hospital or Skilled Nursing to float to the Subacute unit.
Preferred:
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office.
