About the Role
As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering age-appropriate therapeutic interventions, monitoring patient responses to treatment, documenting care in electronic medical records, and collaborating with the Occupational Therapist on patient education and discharge planning. You will work in a team environment focused on performance improvement and problem-solving.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an AOTA approved Associate's degree program or equivalent training.
- Current state license or certification to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
- Current BLS certification or obtained within ninety days of completing new employee orientation.
Preferred:
- Experience working with adult and geriatric populations.
- Prior acute care experience.
