About the Role
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will report to the Registered Occupational Therapist and be responsible for implementing standards of care for occupational therapy services. Your duties will include evaluating patients' functional status, teaching new skills, maintaining clinical records, and ensuring coordinated care with other healthcare personnel.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an occupational therapy assistant curriculum accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Certified with the National Certification Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Licensed by the State Board of Healing Arts in accordance with state licensure laws.
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- A minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience as a certified occupational therapy assistant.
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the organization's requirements.
