About the Role

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an occupational therapist to assist patients with therapy activities and exercises scheduled in their treatment plans. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and recording therapy services, selecting and implementing therapeutic activities, and ensuring adherence to clinical practice guidelines. You will also contribute to documentation and communication regarding patient progress and outcomes.

About You

Required:

Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state(s) of practice.
Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment.

Preferred:

Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Valid driver's license when applicable.
