About the Role
As a Certified Ophthalmology Technician, you will prepare patients for examinations, perform diagnostic tests and imaging, assist in minor procedures, educate patients, maintain clinical equipment, manage patient records, collaborate with the care team, and ensure a clean clinical environment.
About You
Required:- 0-2 years of experience in an ophthalmology clinical setting.
- COT - Certified Ophthalmic Medical Tech or COA - Certified Ophthalmic Assistant required.
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
Preferred:- Knowledge of ophthalmologic procedures, equipment, and diagnostic tests.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and other healthcare software.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
