About the Role

As a Certified Pharmacy Tech - Outpatient, you will work under the direct supervision of pharmacists to ensure accurate medication preparation and delivery. Your responsibilities will include tracking prescription orders, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and providing excellent customer service to patients. You will also assist in triaging and filling prescriptions, performing cashier functions, and using pharmacy software for transactions.

About You

Required:

Current registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
National certification through National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).

Preferred:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Graduate from a pharmacy technology program.
Sterile Compounding Certification accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
