OrthoPediatrics Specialty Bracing is seeking a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist to join their team in New Brunswick, NJ. The role involves providing care to patients with disabling conditions of limbs and spine by fitting and preparing orthopedic braces.
About the Role
As a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist, you will be responsible for examining, interviewing, and measuring patients to determine their appliance needs, fitting and testing devices, instructing patients in the use and care of orthoses/prostheses, designing orthopedic devices, maintaining patient records, and constructing and fabricating appliances. You will work closely with physicians to formulate specifications and prescriptions for orthopedic devices.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
Two plus years of related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.
Completion of NCOPE certified residency program.
Preferred:
Masters of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics (MSPO).
