- BCLS certified by the American Heart Association.
- Understanding of medical terminology and current respiratory care modalities.
- Ability to communicate orally and maintain composure in stressful situations.

- Manual dexterity to operate and assemble equipment.
- Visual acuity and physical ability to stand or walk for long periods.
