As a Certified Surgical Tech-Operating Room, you will be responsible for performing various duties in the operating room, maintaining cleanliness and efficiency, providing patient care services from neonate to geriatric, orienting employees to equipment and procedures, and serving as a role model to other operating room technicians and students. You will also uphold the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
About You
Required:
- High school graduate or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
- Possesses and maintains certification as a surgical technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- Current AHA Basic Life Support certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
