About the Role
As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will serve as a member of the surgical team under the direction of a registered nurse. Your responsibilities will include preparing the operating room, assisting in surgical procedures, maintaining sterile fields, and ensuring the proper handling of instruments and supplies. You will also participate in staff development programs and assist in training new employees.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent and graduate of vocational and/or technical program in surgical technology.
- BCLS certified.
- 1 year of experience in a surgical technologist role.
Preferred:
- Thorough knowledge of aseptic technique.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and basic anatomy.
