About the Role
As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing the operating room, securing safe transport of patients, confirming the correctness of the surgical site, and assisting the surgical team during procedures. You will also participate in postoperative cleanup and maintain specialty preference cards. This position requires working part-time on weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 7:30 PM.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or completion of surgical tech apprenticeship or military program.
- BLS certification.
- Mandatory Reporter certification.
Preferred:
- CST certification preferred but not required in Iowa; required if working in Illinois.
- No prior experience required.
