About the Role
As a Charge Review Specialist III, you will be responsible for charge capture and reconciliation processes, ensuring compliance with internal standards, identifying billing errors, training staff, and preparing reports for the Revenue Cycle team. You will also implement changes to prevent charging errors and maintain clinical charging systems across various modalities.
About You
Required:
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Certified Coder (AAPC or AHIMA Credential) with a minimum of 3 years’ recent coding experience in a healthcare environment.
- Proficient in CPT/HCPCS code assignments per coding guidelines.
Preferred:
- College degree.
- EPIC experience.
- Previous chart audit experience.
- Chargemaster (CDM) experience.
- National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) edit experience.
