About the Role
As a Chemical Controls Technician, you will operate process units to produce chemical intermediates for aviation Ceramic Matrix Composites raw materials. Your responsibilities will include operating a distributed and automated control system, monitoring chemical process measurements, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring safety and quality in a 24/7 production environment. You will also participate in quality and continuous improvement projects and communicate effectively with peers and management.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum of 5 years’ Controls Operator experience in a Chemical, Refinery, or Power Plant environment
- Ability and willingness to work off/varied shift/weekends, days, nights, holidays as required
Preferred:
- Mechanical/Electrical aptitude
- Ability to analyze problems, identify issues and provide efficient solutions
- Basic Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to mentor/train others effectively
