About the Role
As a CHHA, you will be responsible for providing companion activities, homemaking, personal care, and transportation to appointments. Your tasks will include assisting with exercise, personal hygiene, vital signs, and adherence to patient care plans. You will work in a supportive environment with flexible hours, primarily during the day.
About You
Required:
- NJ CHHA or CNA certification
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass criminal history and drug screening
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Provide two references from past employers or nursing program instructors
Preferred:
- Basic Life Support (CPR certification must be achieved within 60 days)
- Experience in providing care for post-stroke and dementia patients
