About the Role
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will oversee all accounting operations, manage financial reporting, and ensure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit standards. You will partner with the CEO and executive team to develop long-term financial strategies, provide financial modeling and analysis, and present financial matters to the Board of Directors. Additionally, you will supervise the fiscal department, manage relationships with stakeholders, and oversee grant financial oversight and compliance.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required; CPA strongly preferred.
- 8–10 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience.
- Minimum 5 years nonprofit financial management experience.
- Strong nonprofit accounting knowledge including GAAP and federal grant compliance.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience presenting financial information to Boards and Finance Committees.
- Strong internal control and policy development expertise.
- Demonstrated experience leading annual audits.
