About the Role
As the Chief Fund Development Officer, you will be responsible for planning and executing fundraising initiatives, managing large-scale special events, providing leadership to the development team, and collaborating with the executive team to align fundraising strategies with the organization's mission. You will also manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and refine the CRM system to enhance fundraising efforts.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree preferred.
- 12-15 years of experience in fundraising with a strong background in overseeing large-scale special events.
- 5 years of experience leading/managing high-performing teams.
- Strong track record of successful fundraising, including major gift fundraising.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices and philanthropy trends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and donor management software.
- Ability to work collaboratively with executives and volunteers.
