Summary
Amalgamated Bank is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves designing and implementing the Bank’s Information Security program while protecting the business from cyber security threats.
About the Role
As the Chief Information Security Officer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an Enterprise Information Security Program, managing and training Information Security staff, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will also lead security tests, manage incidents, and communicate risks and best practices to the Executive Team and Board of Directors.
About You
Required:
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience, with at least five (5) years focused on managing information security in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Extensive experience in regulated industries, especially financial services.
Preferred:
- CISSP, CISA or CISM designations.
- Experience presenting to senior levels, including Board of Directors.
