About the Role
As the Chief Medical Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing medical management policies, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, and collaborating with various stakeholders to improve community health. You will supervise Medical Directors and other key personnel, manage department budgets, and represent the organization in community forums.
About You
Required:
- MD degree from an accredited medical school.
- At least ten years clinical experience in a managed care setting.
- At least five years clinical experience with MediCal and/or Medicare populations.
- Unrestricted, active license to practice medicine in California.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with seniors and Persons with Disabilities and Dual Eligible.
- Knowledge of NCQA accreditation and HEDIS.
- Experience with electronic medical records and information technology.
