About the Role
As the Chief Medical Officer, you will be responsible for strategic leadership of clinical programs, ensuring high standards of patient care, and fostering collaboration among medical staff and administrative leaders. Your key responsibilities include overseeing quality improvement initiatives, compliance with regulations, provider recruitment, and implementing clinical guidelines. You will also utilize data analytics to enhance performance and support organizational growth.
About You
Required:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board-certified in a medical specialty.
- Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility).
- Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience, including 3-5 years in medical leadership or executive roles.
- Proven experience in quality improvement, population health, or clinical operations.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and accreditation standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in a multi-site healthcare organization or health system.
- Knowledge of value-based care, care coordination models, and clinical technology systems.
