About the Role
As the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), you will be responsible for clinical excellence, staffing strategy, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement across the organization. You will collaborate with physicians, administrators, and the governing board to advance the hospital's mission and operational performance. Key responsibilities include leading nursing and clinical departments, ensuring compliant patient care, managing staffing models and budgets, and overseeing talent development and performance management.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in a hospital setting.
- Proven leadership over multiple, complex nursing or clinical departments.
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred:
- Surgical background/leadership experience.
- CNO experience and surgical hospital experience.
