About the Role
As the Chief of Treasury, you will manage the City's treasury responsibilities, including cash, debt, and investments, with custody of public funds exceeding $2 billion. You will develop policies for administration and financing operations, direct cash flow management, set investment strategies, coordinate bond issuances, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and administer accounts receivable programs. You will also assist in resolving major fiscal problems and lead recruitment and training efforts for the Treasury operation.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Four years of senior administrative financial management experience in a large business, financial institution, or government agency.
Preferred:
- Experience in cash and investment/portfolio management.
- Experience in accounts receivable program management.
- Experience in bond issuance or securing other types of financing.
