About the Role
As a Child Advocate II, you will supervise and support Child Advocates during your designated shift, ensure compliance with licensing regulations, assign staff duties, maintain child-to-staff ratios, organize developmentally appropriate activities, and model best practices in trauma-informed care. You will also train and mentor new staff, collaborate with program administration, and participate in safety drills and performance evaluations.
About You
Required:
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years of childcare experience
- Paid supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership ability
- Ability to pass all required background checks and screenings
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred:
- Associate's Degree in Child Development (CDA)
- Residential childcare experience
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, 24/7 care environment
