Summary
Greater Binghamton Health Center is seeking a Child And Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their team in Binghamton, NY. The role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric care to children and adolescents in a 13-bed inpatient unit.
About the Role
As a Child And Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary treatment team to provide patient-centered care. Your responsibilities will include conducting evaluations, diagnosing and treating patients, managing medications, coordinating discharges, and supervising medical interns and fellows. You will also participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to the overall mental health services provided by GBHC.
About You
Required:
- License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State.
- Completion of a training program in psychiatry approved by the ABPN.
- Certification in psychiatry approved by the ABPN for Psychiatrist 2 positions.
- Certification in child and adolescent psychiatry approved by the ABPN for Psychiatrist 2 Children & Youth positions.
Preferred:
- Board certification in child and adolescent psychiatry.
- Experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
