About the Role
As a Child and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for crisis intervention, safety planning, and providing trauma treatment to families affected by intimate partner violence. You will conduct assessments, co-facilitate counseling groups, and provide case management and advocacy services. The position requires collaboration with community organizations and maintaining compliance with program commitments.
About You
Required:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, Art Therapy, or equivalent degree with licensure or on track for licensure required.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience providing trauma-informed domestic violence prevention and intervention services to underserved families.
Preferred:
- Bilingual Spanish/English fluency preferred.
- Experience using a client-centered engagement approach with survivors of domestic violence and children exposed to domestic violence.
