Crossnore Communities for Children is seeking a Child and Family Therapist (LCMHC/LCSW/LMFT) to join their team in Crossnore, NC. The role focuses on empowering young adults transitioning out of foster care to heal from trauma and build resilience.
About the Role
As a Child and Family Therapist, you will provide therapeutic services to young adults aged 17-21, using evidence-based and trauma-informed practices. Your responsibilities include individualized treatment planning, crisis response, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care. You will also participate in on-call rotations and engage in community projects to enhance services for young adults.
About You
Required:
Valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
Experience as a therapist working with young adults and families in foster care.
Preferred:
Knowledge of trauma-informed therapy, attachment theory, and family systems.
Experience using evidence-based therapeutic practices.
