About the Role
As a Child Autism Support Specialist, you will work 1:1 with children aged 2-12, engaging in activities that promote their growth at home, school, and in everyday life. Your responsibilities will include playing games to enhance language skills, assisting with daily tasks, managing challenging behaviors, tracking progress, and collaborating with your team to adjust support as needed.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with children (babysitting, coaching, camps, classrooms, etc.).
- Physical stamina and mobility to actively engage with children, including lifting up to 45 pounds.
Preferred:
- Calm, flexible, and eager to learn, even in tough moments.
- Interest in long-term careers in ABA, education, child psychology, OT, SLP, or mental health.
