About the Role
As a Child Care Infant and Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for creating hands-on activities that meet the needs and interests of children, maintaining open communication with parents, and ensuring a safe and clean classroom. You will work in a dynamic, inclusive environment that promotes children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.
About You
Required:
- 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children.
- 5 years teaching experience in a group child care setting with a high school diploma, and must be willing to obtain CDA upon hire.
- OR BA/AA in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
- OR CDA with one year experience in a group child care setting.
- OR a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
- OR an associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.
