About the Role
As a Child Care Monitor I, you will be responsible for overseeing school-age children during before and after school care, ensuring their safety and engagement in activities. You will need to complete required training within the first year and maintain ongoing training throughout your employment. The position requires physical capability to perform medium work, including lifting and moving objects as necessary.
About You
Required:
- A standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved GED Testing Program.
- Experience or training working with school-age children in a group supervision setting.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred:
- Completion of BASCC Comprehensive Child Care Components I and II within the first year.
- Completion of Florida Department of Children and Families modules within the first year.
