About the Role
As a Child Care Site Coordinator, you will organize, direct, and coordinate the school-aged Child Care program at the school site. Your responsibilities include supervising Child Care instructors, managing craft projects, working with parents and staff to address issues, collecting fees, maintaining financial records, attending meetings, and participating in training sessions. You will also need to relate positively to children, parents, and staff.
About You
Required:
- Ability to read and interpret textbooks and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of children, parents, or employees.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts appropriate to students' grade level.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
- Possession of a valid Indiana driver's license.
Preferred:
- Background in basic bookkeeping practices.
- Ability to use proper grammar in both written and oral communications.
- Experience in supervising Child Care workers.
