All Around Children is seeking a Childcare Bus Driver (Part-Time) to join their team in Cleveland, OH. The role involves safely transporting children to and from childcare centers and local schools.
About the Role
As a Childcare Bus Driver, you will be responsible for driving a 14-passenger school bus and/or a 6-passenger minivan, ensuring the safety and well-being of children aged 5 to 12 during transportation. Your duties include maintaining the vehicle, conducting safety checks, and adhering to state licensing guidelines. You will also assist with documentation and ensure that each child is delivered to a responsible adult.
About You
Required:
- At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Current physical, and ability to pass BCI/FBI background check.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous driving experience and comfort working with groups of children.
Preferred:
- Experience driving a school bus or similar vehicle.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations related to transporting children.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers and support staff.
