Summary
Cleveland Public Library is seeking a Children's Librarian for their Rice Campus. The role involves providing and promoting library services for youth from birth to eighteen years of age.
About the Role
As a Children's Librarian, you will be responsible for selecting library service materials, presenting programs, and providing public service to library patrons with an emphasis on youth, their caregivers, educators, and advocacy groups. You will assist with planning and implementing programs, perform reference work, participate in collection development, and promote library services through community outreach.
About You
Required:
- Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA accredited college or university.
- One year of library experience.
Preferred:
- Children's or teen services experience.
- Knowledge of children's and teen literature and resources.
